Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1,010m), taking around 2–3 hours. Along the way, you’ll pass charming villages such as Birethanti, Hille, and Tikhedhunga, with the Burundi Khola running alongside the road. From Ulleri, the trek starts through dense oak and rhododendron forests, gradually climbing to Banthanti (2,250m).
Keep your eyes open for wildlife, such as long-tailed monkeys (Langur) jumping in the trees. After a steady ascent to Nangethanti (2,460m), you will reach Ghorepani (2,860m) in about 4–5 hours. Ghorepani is a picturesque village surrounded by rhododendron forests, perfect for an overnight stay in a cozy teahouse.
Wake up early for a short hike to Poon Hill (3,210m), the highest viewpoint of the trek. Here, you’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayan range, with views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South (7,219m). From here, continue ascending slightly to Chommrong (2,140m), where peaks like Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Fishtail dominate the skyline. A short steep climb brings you to Jhinu Danda (1,780m), where you can relax in the natural hot springs, a perfect reward after a day of trekking. Overnight at a teahouse.
Today’s trek begins with a descent to Komrong Khola, crossing a new suspension bridge beside a waterfall. Continue along the forested riverside trail, passing trekkers heading to other popular trails. The path climbs gently through Landruk village and Tolka, where forests alive with birds, ferns, and orchids create a serene atmosphere.
The trail then climbs to Bheri Kharka and Deurali (2,010m), offering panoramic views of the Pokhara valley and Dhampus village. Proceed to Pothana village, where a tourist check post is located, before reaching Australian Camp (2,060m). Overnight at the camp with breathtaking mountain vistas.
On the final day, descend via Dhampus Village (1,580m), enjoying beautiful sunrise and sunset views of the mountains. The trail passes through forested ridges and terraced villages before reaching Phedi (1,080m). From here, drive back to Pokhara (820m) in around 40 minutes, marking the end of the trek.
