All bookings are based on the following terms and conditions. Your agreement is made with Ghumnajaau Private Limited, located at KMC-13, Kathmandu, Nepal. Our terms and conditions have been carefully crafted with respect for our clients, our administrative staff, and our guides. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your investment.
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions, ensuring mutual respect, safety, and welfare for all parties involved.
1. Booking Authority
All bookings are made with Ghumnajaau Private Limited.
2. Flexibility and Itinerary
Acknowledging the outdoor nature of our tours, itineraries provided are guidelines. We are not responsible for delays caused by strikes, government regulations, weather, natural calamities, riots, vandalism, or acts of God. In such cases, Ghumnajaau will provide suitable alternatives based on mutual agreement. If an agreement cannot be reached, Ghumnajaau shall not be held responsible.
3. Booking Confirmation
A tentative booking is held for one week. A 30% non-refundable trip deposit is required to confirm the booking. Confirmation will be provided via email or direct paper communication after receiving a signed copy of the booking form. A final confirmation letter will be sent upon receipt of all required documents and the trip deposit.
4. Payments
The remaining 70% balance can be paid before departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu. Payments can be made via cash or card. For card payments, an additional 3.5% bank charge will apply. Special payment terms may apply to high-altitude trips.
5. Currency
All trip costs are shown in NPR unless otherwise stated.
6. Non-Refundable Deposit
The 30% deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation protection.
7. Rescheduling and Cancellation
Trips may be rescheduled for a future date, and the trip deposit will be transferred. Cancellation charges, however, may apply.
8. No Show Policy
If a client does not show up or fails to contact us within 48 hours of the scheduled start, the booking will be considered a cancellation with no refund.
9. Early Return
No refunds will be issued for unused services if a client decides to return early.
10. Flight Cancellations
Extra costs may apply in case of flight cancellations due to weather. Travel insurance is recommended.
11. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation.
12. Information and Advice
Information provided by Ghumnajaau is given in good faith. Travelers are responsible for their own decisions.
13. Image Usage
By signing these terms and conditions, you agree that your image may be used by Ghumnajaau for promotional purposes, including printed materials and presentations, unless you notify us in writing to opt out.
14. Leadership Authority
You agree to abide by the authority of the tour or trek leader. Signing the booking form implies your acceptance of the leader’s decisions, which may affect the group or individuals. A complete briefing will be provided upon arrival.
15. Complaints
Complaints should be reported within ten days of trip completion. If unresolved, we will attempt to agree on a settlement. All disputes will be governed by the laws of Nepal.
16. Assumption of Risk
By participating in the activities offered, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved. You assume full responsibility for any loss, property damage, or personal injury sustained during the activity. Ghumnajaau is not responsible for the actions of third parties or any extra costs incurred due to delays or complications beyond our control.
17. Legal Jurisdiction
All disputes will be settled under the laws of Nepal.
