Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, We're grateful for the warm welcome extended by our official. We will take you to the hotel in our private tourist vehicle. This day will be marked the beginning of your trip. An early morning departure from the hotel taking an overland drive to reach towards North around Langtang Himal, during six hours drive views of snow-capped peaks, then arriving at Syabrubesi village after driving past Dhunche headquarter town of Rasuwa district and Langtang national park.
The trek starts from Syabrubesi village and crosses a bridge over the Langtang River. After that, there's an uphill climb through farm areas and dense green forests. The day's journey ends at Lama Hotel, a peaceful spot nestled within a forest clearing, where travelers can rest for the night.
From Lama Hotel, the morning trek continues alongside the river, winding through thickly forested areas and into a gorge. The path leads to the cooler terrain beyond Ghodetabla, where the landscape becomes more rugged and the air fresher. Eventually, you arrive at Langtang village, situated amidst tree-lined slopes with breathtaking views of the Langtang Lirung peaks to the north, towering above high rocky cliffs. Here, you'll find a welcoming place to spend the night, surrounded by the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Having an enjoyable marvelous time around beautiful Langtang Valley at Kyanjing our adventure comes to an end following the downhill walk to River side or Lama Hotel with an overnight stop. The mostly trail is coming down through the Mundu village, Langtang village, and Ghodatabela village. Approximately, 6 to 7 hours to get back to Lama Hotel.
On this day of the trek, you'll descend alongside the Langtang Khola, passing by a charming waterfall and through vibrant rhododendron and bamboo forests, alive with the sounds of wild boar and monkeys. The route offers stunning views of the mountain range in the distance. Crossing a suspension bridge, you'll reach the base of Thulo Syabru village, a serene and picturesque spot to rest and reflect on the day's adventures.
From Thulo Syabru, we gradually climb upwards and pass Langtang National Park's army checkpoint. Within half an hour of uphill trekking, we reach Daragang. The trail is less steep from here, as it passes, through the hemlock and oak forest. While passing the forest you may also spot the rare red panda. We continue our trek forward through Dhimsa and Sing Gompa to Cholangpati or another forest trail through Mulkhark to Cholangpati where we will stop for the night.
As you ascend, the magnificent Langtang Himal (7234 m), the iconic peak of the Langtang Range, greets you with its awe-inspiring presence. The trail leads you through desolate, barren mountain landscapes, offering a stark yet captivating backdrop to your journey. As you climb higher, your vantage point expands, revealing more mountain vistas on the horizon. The majestic Langtang Himal dominates the view, accompanied by the imposing peaks of Ganesh Himal and even glimpses of the Annapurna range on the western horizon.
After several hours of trekking, you'll reach Laure Binayak, marking the beginning of the uphill climb to Gosainkunda. The ascent is steep, but the panoramic views that unfold along the way make every step worthwhile. After two hours of challenging ascent, you'll arrive at a chorten, a sacred Buddhist monument. Continuing on, another hour of trekking brings you to stunning waterfalls and lakes—Saraswati Kunda and Bhairav Kunda—both fed by the waters of Gosainkunda.
These pristine lakes hold great religious significance for Hindus, who believe them to be favored spots of Lord Shiva. Gosainkunda itself attracts thousands of pilgrims each year, especially during the holy Hindu festival in the fall. The tranquil beauty and spiritual aura of this sacred site make it a truly unforgettable destination on your trek through the Langtang region.
Early in the morning, embark on a brisk hike to Suryakunda, also known as Lauribinayak Pass, which stands at an altitude of 4610m. The hike takes approximately an hour and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Along the trail, you'll also encounter various lakes, adding to the scenic beauty of the journey. After enjoying the panoramic vistas from Suryakunda, return to the lodge for breakfast. Following breakfast, trek back to Sigh Gompa, where you'll spend the night at a lodge, reflecting on the memorable experiences of the day.
After breakfast, begin the descent from Sigh Gompa towards Dhunche, passing through Deurali along the way. The trek downhill takes approximately 3-4 hours, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes. Upon reaching Dhunche, enjoy a well-deserved lunch before departing for Kathmandu. The journey back to Kathmandu marks the final leg of the adventure, allowing you to reminisce about the unforgettable experiences and scenic wonders encountered during the trek.
