Dhorpatan–Maikot Circuit Trek 2025 | Offbeat Himalayan Adventure in Western Nepal
The Dhorpatan–Maikot Circuit Trek is a remarkable 13-day journey through the remote mid-western hills of Nepal, combining stunning Himalayan scenery with rich Magar culture. Graded as moderate to difficult, the trek explores the little-known Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve and the traditional homeland of the Kham Magar people. Starting from Dhorpatan, the route ascends across the scenic Phalgune Pass (3,915m), offering panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri and Gurja Himal ranges before descending to charming villages along the Ghustung and Sano Bheri rivers.
