Enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings as you prepare for the adventures that lie ahead on your trek.
After a hearty breakfast, set out on the trek towards Sigh Gompa, situated at an altitude of 3300 meters, and then continue to Choyalanpati at 3634 meters. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking natural scenery, passing through enchanting rhododendron forests. The trail will involve some steep sections as you ascend, but the picturesque surroundings will make every step worthwhile. As you ascend, the magnificent Langtang Himal (7234 m), the iconic peak of the Langtang Range, greets you with its awe-inspiring presence. The trail leads you through desolate, barren mountain landscapes, offering a stark yet captivating backdrop to your journey. The ascent is steep, but the panoramic views that unfold along the way make every step worthwhile. After two hours of challenging ascent, you'll arrive at a chorten, a sacred Buddhist monument. Continuing on, another hour of trekking brings you to stunning waterfalls and lakes—Saraswati Kunda and Bhairav Kunda—both fed by the waters of Gosainkunda.
These pristine lakes hold great religious significance for Hindus, who believe them to be favored spots of Lord Shiva. Gosainkunda itself attracts thousands of pilgrims each year, especially during the holy Hindu festival in the fall. The tranquil beauty and spiritual aura of this sacred site make it a truly unforgettable destination on your trek through the Langtang region.

The trek begins amidst juniper, rhododendron, and pine groves, leading to the tranquil setting of Tharepati. Descending gently through forested slopes, you'll pass a meadow with shepherd's huts and enjoy views of Gangchempo and Dorje Lakpa peaks. The descent becomes steeper as you reach Magin Goth and eventually descend to Kutumsang, passing through Kuala Bhanjyang along the way.

After a short walk from Chisopani, you'll reach the Shivapuri National Park checkpoint and descend through the park. Passing water reservoirs and large pipes, you'll arrive at Sundarijal where you'll bid farewell to the trails and take local transport back to Kathmandu.
