Saipal Base Camp (East) Trek – 14 Days (From Simikot)
The Saipal Base Camp (East) Trek is one of Nepal’s most rewarding and untouched trekking adventures. Nestled in the far-western Himalayas, Mt. Saipal (7031m) stands as the second-highest peak of Western Nepal, guarding a hidden valley of pristine beauty, ancient culture, and remarkable solitude.
Unlike many popular trekking routes, this off-the-beaten-path journey remains intact and unexplored, offering trekkers a rare opportunity to experience true Himalayan wilderness. No prior high-altitude trekking experience is required—good health, fitness, and a spirit for adventure are enough to take on this remarkable journey.
Starting from Simikot (gateway to Mt. Kailash), the trek gradually ascends, ensuring proper acclimatization while unveiling the hidden gems of Humla and Bajura. Spring and autumn are the best seasons, when the weather is clear, and the landscapes are at their most breathtaking.
