Upon arrival in Taplejung, we may need to transfer to a local vehicle to navigate the slippery dirt track to Sano Phedi, a roughly one-hour journey covering 9km. This route may become more challenging during rainy periods and in winter. From Sano Phedi, we'll commence a hike to Thulo Phedi, a journey that typically takes just one hour. As we trek, we'll immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings, enjoying the crisp mountain air and stunning vistas. Our accommodation for the night will be arranged at a lodge in Thulo Phedi, where we can rest and rejuvenate after the day's travels.

Rise early to embark on a serene hike to Pathivara Temple, located amidst the tranquil mountain scenery. The hike typically takes 2-3 hours, varying based on walking speed and the age group of participants. Upon reaching the temple, engage in worship and seek blessings from the divine deity. Take a moment to soak in the mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountains and landscape, allowing yourself to connect with the serene ambiance and engage in meditation for a few minutes. Afterward, begin the journey back to Thulo Phedi, retracing your steps through the picturesque trails. Following a brief rest, we'll continue our adventure with a scenic drive to Phidim, where comfortable accommodation awaits at a local hotel. Spend the night here, reflecting on the spiritual experiences of the day and anticipating the adventures yet to come.

After a hearty breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Phidim, a journey that typically spans 5-6 hours. Before checking into our hotel, we'll make a stop to visit Baraha Kshetra, a revered pilgrimage site known for its spiritual significance. Here, we can pay our respects and immerse ourselves in the serene ambiance of this sacred place. Following our visit, we'll proceed to Dharan, where we'll check into our hotel for the night. Relax and unwind in the comfortable accommodations, reflecting on the day's experiences and preparing for the adventures that lie ahead.

Following breakfast, it's time for our final departure from Dharan back to Kathmandu. We'll embark on the journey, enjoying the scenic views along the way as we make our way back to the capital city. If desired, there's an optional visit to Janakpur that can be arranged upon request. Janakpur is a historic and cultural city famous for its association with the Hindu epic Ramayana and its revered Janaki Temple dedicated to Goddess Sita. Should you choose to extend your journey to Janakpur, you'll have the opportunity to explore its rich heritage and vibrant atmosphere before returning to Kathmandu.
