Trishuli rafting is the popular commercial whitewater tour in Nepal. It is suitable for all from the first time to experienced rafters. This rafting is a good opportunity to experience the pristine natural beauty, scenic valleys, impressive gorges, unpolluted beaches, exciting rapids, and easier sections.

The major sources of Trishuli river system are Holi Lake of Gosaikund the Himalayan Lake northwest of Kathmandu. According to a legend, Lord Shiva created three springs by piercing his trident into the rocky mountain. Since these three springs are the sources of water for the river it is named after the Trishuli River and Langtang Valley Khola as well as some water comes from Bhot (Kerung Border).

The best season of Trishuli Rafting is from February to mid-June and September to January. July, and August is the monsoon period in Nepal. Due to high water volume and high rapids in monsoon, it becomes difficult to organize rafting trips.

Trishuli is perfectly suitable for beginner and families. The waters are not very challenging and you can loosen yourself and enjoy the scenery. The rapids that you will encounter are Twin Rocks (Class 3+), Ladies’ Delight (Class 3+), Upset first (Class 3+), Surprise (Class 4-), and Butterfly (Class 3). If weather permits, you can also get glimpses of cable cars that move to and from Manakamana Temple.

If you want, you may take a dip into the waters of Trishuli for swimming or cliff jumping, we will be suggesting you favorable spots. Our starting point will be at Charaudi (412 m) and end point at Kuringhat. Throughout the journey, you get to enjoy impressive gorges, beautiful valleys and typical Nepali villages.
