Itinerary

The journey begins as we gather at the meeting point and embark on a scenic drive to Sauraha in a private tourist vehicle. Located 163km west of Kathmandu, Sauraha is renowned for its wildlife activities and vibrant Tharu culture, nestled within the buffer zone of Chitwan National Park. After a 4.5-hour drive, we check into our hotel and indulge in a delicious lunch. Following a quick refreshment, we head out for an exhilarating Jeep Safari in Chitwan National Park, spanning 4 hours to observe the diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. Returning to the hotel, we unwind and prepare for an enchanting evening of Tharu Cultural dance at the Tharu Cultural House. A sumptuous dinner awaits us before we retire for the night, eager for the adventures that lie ahead in this captivating wilderness.

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on an exciting canoeing ride along the Rapti River, offering a thrilling opportunity to observe water wildlife such as Gharials and crocodiles, while immersing yourself in the tranquil sounds of the surrounding forest. After this exhilarating experience, we visit the Elephant Breeding Center to learn more about these majestic creatures. Returning to the hotel for lunch, we then set off on a 4.5-hour drive to Pokhara, covering 146km. Although the road may be slightly disrupted due to the ongoing construction of the Mugling-Pokhara Highway, we make a stop to visit the International Mountain Museum before entering the city. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the bustling streets of Lakeside, exploring the vibrant market scene. Optional activities include cycling to Khapaudi-Pamde Lake during sunset or simply enjoying an evening stroll by the lakeside. Dinner can be enjoyed at a typical restaurant outside the hotel. Tonight, we unwind and rest at the hotel, reflecting on the day's adventures amidst the stunning landscapes of Pokhara

After lunch, embark on a picturesque 3-hour drive to the enchanting Ghandruk village, nestled at an altitude of 6363ft and located 40 km away from Pokhara. Upon arrival, unwind at the lodge and revel in the warmth of a cozy fire camp accompanied by delightful music. Embrace the tranquility of the mountain surroundings as you prepare for a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the beauty of Ghandruk village.
